Hans Leenders is artistiek leider van het professionele kamerkoor Studium Chorale en vocaal ensemble Cantatrix, artistiek adviseur van het Nederlands Gregoriaans Festival en het orgelfestival L’Europe et l’Orgue.
Tevens is hij hoofdvakdocent orgel aan het Conservatorium Maastricht, dirigent van het conservatoriumkoor en Basilicakoor Maastricht, en gastdocent voor gregoriaans aan de Folkwang-Universität der Künste Essen.
Hans Leenders is cantor-organist van de OLV basiliek te Maastricht (Séverin 1652 en Müseler 1765) en titulair-organist van de Kopermolen te Vaals (Hilgers 1765).

Met name te noemen zijn Patina, een muzikale theatervoorstelling voor koor en slagwerk, een nieuw Requiem voor de Nederlandse kerkprovincie en De Veertien Stonden, een oratorium voor twee orgels en koor op tekst van Guido Gezelle.
